Yuanyuan Cui's research focuses on a series of topics in neurophysiology and cancer biology. She conducts translational research from understanding the fundamental physiological phenomena, solving pathological problems to aiding clinical therapy. More specifically, her research interests include:
1. Temperature and pain sensing mechanisms for TRP channels;
2. Castration resistant prostate cancer progression, drug resistance and nanostructured medicine for drug delivery;
3. Thermodynamics of biological processes.
