Undergraduate Program In Neuroscience
Neuroscience seeks to answer questions that touch on nearly every aspect of life, including motivation, eating, sleeping, memory, sensing, movement and maintaining health. At WSU, students work closely with well funded and renowned neuroscientists to probe the brain from fundamental molecular and cellular processes to integrative behavior. Students who graduate from our program have gone on to numerous different career paths including post-doctoral studies at some of the most prestigious institutions in the world, jobs in teaching or the biotechnology/medical devices industry, or professional schools including medical, veterinary, and optometry.
NOTE: The Neuroscience Baccalaureate Degree Program currently has a cap of 40 majors. Thus, we may be unable to certify all qualified students. In this situation, the most highly qualified students who apply will be selected for certification up to the enrollment limit.
