Research

My research laboratory investigates skeletal muscle function using multi-scale approaches, spanning protein level kinetics to whole body movements. We combine innovative experimental methods with computational modeling to integrate scales and elucidate how low level processes influence organismal motor behavior and vice versa. The applications include muscular dystrophy and ballistic jumping in kangaroo rats.
